For health and safety reasons we only administer medication if it is prescribed by a doctor and needs to be administered four times a day.  The exception to this rule is asthma medication.  We keep a medical register of all children needing to take medication. A request form must be completed by parents before medication can be administered.  Records are kept of all times and dates when children are given medication.
