SEND

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Trumps Green Infant School is a fully inclusive school and we do our utmost to support all pupils regardless of their individual needs.  Trumps Green Infant school respects and values the unique contribution which every individual makes to our school community.  All pupils are provided with Quality First teaching which will enable them to make their best possible progress.  All pupils are welcomed into our community and valued by us.  From time-to-time children will need additional support to help them to make progress.  School base their decision on which pupils require support and the type of support required on a number of different factors including assessments made by teachers and/or external professionals.  School will inform parents and carers when their child is being put on or removed from the SEN register.  Having a SEND diagnosis does not mean the pupil will automatically be placed on the SEN register.

Our full SEND policy and other related documents can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.

Our SEND Co-ordinator is Mrs Z Hazell, our SENCO support is Miss S Morris who can be contacted via the school office.
